Wind Sculpture “You and I”

Two wheels turn serenely in the wind.
Depending on the direction and strength of the wind, they turn faster or slower.
Often in the same direction – sometimes opposite.
The kinetic sculpture constantly realigns itself with the wind.

Two wheels turn in the wind – sometimes together, sometimes against each other, sometimes round each other – depending on which way the wind blows. They are similar, yet not identical.
The wheels share a common base, but each turns independently of the other. Together, they are very close to the sky. Anyone who thinks of relationships in this context has grasped the intention behind the sculpture.
The wind chime encourages reflection on closeness and distance, independence and togetherness, and how relationships can flourish.
