Biography

As an artist and engineer, my path towards creating kinetic sculptures was an obvious one. Inspired by the artworks of Anthony Howe and Phil Price, I began building my own kinetic sculptures. Technical knowledge, craftsmanship and artistic expression come together in the moving objects made of stainless steel. The combination of creativity, design, technology, movement and fun is important to me. Always under the motto: ‘Art should spark joy’.

Moving elements are a common feature of all the sculptures. The movements are initiated by the wind, a motor or even by the people. Some of the artworks are interactive – touchable art. When people interact with the sculptures, enjoy the interaction and then move on in a relaxed and cheerful mood very much has been achieved from my side.

How the cinetic sculptures are created.
